Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why should I Compost???
A: Composting is a simple yet powerful action that has the potential to make a significant impact on reducing our trash, addressing climate change, and building healthy soil.
Through composting we divert waste from our landfills which mitigates the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, a crucial step in combating climate change.
Q: How much does this service cost?
A: The service is $10/Month, invoiced monthly via email.
Q: When will you pickup my compost?
A: We collect compost every week, specifically on Sundays. If you don't have enough compost scraps for a weekly pickup, you can keep them until the next week. We suggest that even if you have a small amount of compost, you still place your bag by the curb for pickup. Bags must be curbside by 12 Noon.
Q: What are “compostable items”?
Q: How can I get more bags?
A: You will receive 3 bags every week to put your food scraps in. These bags are strong and can hold 8 gallons of materials. If you need more bags, they are available for purchase.
Q: Composting is great, but it no longer works for me. How can I discontinue?
A: There is no contract, or cancellation policy. Email us any time to discontinue pickups. You will be charged for the current month’s pickup.
Q: Is commercial/business pickup available?
A: We currently only service residential customers. This is subject to change, so please check back often.
